General Terms and Conditions

ENGLISH TUITION

All students must have paid for their program IN FULL by the FIRST day of classes or they will not be permitted to attend classes.

Prior to Start Date

Rennert Bilingual requires that all cancellations are received in writing at least 2 weeks prior to start date.

If cancellation is received less than 2 weeks prior to start date, or if the student fails to arrive on start date, tuition is not refundable. The student will be entitled to a tuition credit only, which is valid for one year.

The $120 Registration Fee is a not refundable if courses are cancelled but may be applied to future registrations in the same calendar year.

Rennert will make refunds only to the person or agency that paid the school.

After classes begin

No monetary refunds will be made, REGARDLESS of reasons for departure. Tuition credit will be issued to the person or agency that paid the school.

We require at least 4 weeks notice for all program changes after the initial start date and a $55 program change fee will apply.

Tuition credit from group classes cannot be redeemed for private classes.

Tuition credit is valid for one year from the date the credit was issued and CANNOT be transferred to another student.

LIVING ACCOMMODATIONS

Prior to Arrival

A week is considered to be Sunday to Saturday. Students may NOT stay at a Rennert accommodation more than 2 days before or 2 days after their course begins or finishes.

If accommodations are cancelled at least 2 weeks prior to arrival a full refund will be issued with the exception of the $75 non-refundable accommodation fee.

If accommodations are cancelled less than 2 weeks prior to your arrival, Rennert Bilingual will retain the $75 Accommodations Fee AND the cost of 1 week of accommodation.

The Manhattan apartments require a 2 week prepaid deposit that is not refundable if cancellations are made less than 2 weeks prior to arrival or if the student fails to arrive on the reserved date.

All other funds paid will be refunded to the person or agency that paid the school.

After Arrival

Rennert Bilingual requires 4 weeks notice to change or cancel any accommodations.

There are no refunds or accommodation changes on stays of 4 weeks or less.

A fee of $75 will be charged for all accommodation changes made at Rennert Bilingual (NYC) after the start date.

A fee of $150 will be charged for all accommodation changes made at Rennert Miami (Miami) after the start date.

All other funds paid will be refunded to the person or agency that paid the school.

MISCELLANEOUS

Students participating in English programs at Rennert must be at least 17 years of age and non-native speakers of English.

Students will be assigned to afternoon or morning schedules based on level and space availability. There are no guaranteed morning classes.

Prices and policies are subject to change with approval of the New York State Education Department.

This school is authorized under Federal law to enroll nonimmigrant alien students. César Rennert is a certified sales agent for Rennert Bilingual. He is registered with the NY State Education Department Bureau of Proprietary School Supervision and his sales license number is #11537956.
